David Robert boasts over 30 years of expertise in the global mining and petroleum industry, encompassing operational, commercial, safety, technology, and marketing capacities.

David Robert has been with Derock Mining since 2001 and has been part of the Executive Leadership Team since 2010. Before joining Derock Mining, he held positions in the resources sector in Australia, Japan, and Canada.

With a profound understanding of operations and market dynamics across various commodities, David Robert brings a strategic approach to resource and skills development to execute Derock Mining’s strategy and explore future growth opportunities that align with global economic growth and decarbonization goals. He is dedicated to fostering a secure, high-performance culture, fostered by an inclusive workplace where individuals are empowered at all levels through the Derock operating system.

David Robert is dedicated to nurturing robust relationships with governments, Indigenous partners, community stakeholders, and business partners to ensure that Derock Mining’s endeavors yield mutual benefits for these stakeholders while delivering substantial value for shareholders.
